Also known as relaxation therapy, mind-body therapy is a group of non-invasive techniques that use the bidirectional relationship between the mind and the body to create a balance between all the body systems.

Marlyn Bravo, PT B.Sc, M.P.T Physiotherapist

Marlyn graduated with a Master of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 2010. She has since completed FMS (Functional Movement Systems) and SFMA (Selective Functional Movement Assessment) training, which are focused at assessing and correcting an individual’s fundamental movement patterns. Marlyn is also an ART (Active Release Techniques) provider.

Marlyn has a special interest in sports injury prevention and management, as well as performance enhancement. Much of her interest in sports comes from having a sport background. Marlyn has played high school volleyball, winning two provincial championships, and was a member of the University of Alberta rowing team. She was also a member of the Alberta rowing team at the Canada Summer Games in 2005 and has completed 4 marathons.

Marlyn is a mother of three, and after her own childbirth experiences, she became interested in women’s health. Marlyn has taken pelvic health education in order to help other women recover from their unique experiences and regain control of their health.

Jasmine Eisenhaur, PT B.Sc, M.P.T Physiotherapist

Jasmine graduated from Dalhousie University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and from Queen’s University in 2009 with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy.

She has been involved with many different sports, events, and causes, including coaching children in figure skating and soccer, acting as the President of the Dalhousie/King’s Figure Skating Club, being a part of the medical team at the 2009 Canada Summer Games, and is part of the onsite Medical Team for the Stollery Family Day Classic hockey tournament each year. She has worked as a trainer/team therapist with many different sports, including rugby, football, swimming, hockey, and lacrosse. She was the team therapist for Team Easton (North Division) of the 22nd Annual Game of the AMHL and of the Alberta Women’s Gymnastics Team that travelled to nationals in 2013. Additionally, she has helped run dryland training in hockey camps for Serdachny Power Skating and Hockey and Ian Gordon Goaltending.

Jasmine has continued her education after graduation with post-graduate courses. She has taken McKenzie Part A and B, has received her Medical Acupuncture certification through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute, and is a certified Level 2 Fascial Stretch TherapistTM. Hello! My name is Amy, and I am a kinesiologist and mind-body therapist at Isaac Physiotherapy. I graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.

I am passionate about physical activity, wellness, and holistic recovery. I am excited to use my knowledge of movement, physical activity, and stress management techniques to help people improve their well-being, quality of life and recover well from injury.

I have an athletic background playing sports. A few favorite sports of mine are beach volleyball, climbing, and skiing. Carley Hoyle Carley is a Registered Psychologist who completed her Doctorate in School and Clinical Child psychology at the University of Alberta. Her program of research involved better understanding mental health outcomes of sport related concussion in pediatric and elite adult athletes. Carley has specialized knowledge and clinical skills in the area of sport related concussion and chronic pain management. Additionally, Carley has experience working with individuals struggling with mental health, stress, behaviour, learning, and attention challenges. She has had the opportunity to work with a variety of children, adolescents, and young adults in school, community, and hospital settings. Carley offers individual counseling, group intervention, and consultation. Her training is broad and involves biopsychosocial systems perspectives and draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Codi Isaac PT Physiotherapist & Clinic Owner, Codi (MScPT 2007) works in inter-disciplinary, private practice and sporting environments. She is a Sport Physiotherapist (Cert.) with extensive experience in concussion and vestibular conditions. She has contributed to development of concussion resources for Physicians and Physiotherapists. and is passionate about restoring her patient’s function and participation in life, work and recreational activities. She has achieved Duke Vestibular Competency and has more than 10 years experience in Concussion Management.

Codi is a team member for Physiotherapy Alberta’s Concussion Management: A Toolkit for Physiotherapists, Alberta Health Service’s Pediatric Concussion Knowledge Topic, and Sport Physiotherapy Canada - Concussion Committee.

Her research publications include a Functional Assessment of Balance (FAB-C) Protocol for return to play, and with the Glen Sather Sports Medicine Clinic Interdisciplinary Complex Concussion Clinic: Evaluation of a Novel Model of Collaborative Care.

Heather Jee Heather graduated from the University of Alberta in 2018 with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy.

Since graduating, she has taken courses in Soft Tissue Release techniques, Orthopedic manual therapy Level 1, Level 2 Lower body, Vestibular Rehabilitation, Mulligan techniques and Dry Needling / IMS.

Heather is able to empathize with patients dealing with acute and chronic conditions as she is aware of how it can impact the patient’s quality of life. She combines manual therapy with active rehabilitative exercises to optimize recovery.

Todd Kauffeldt D.C., BPE Chiropractor Dr. Todd Kauffeldt graduated in 1992 from the University of Alberta with a Bachelors degree in Athletic Therapy, and then furthered his education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, graduating in 1999. He has been practicing in Alberta since 2000. My name is Mitch Wheaton, and I am currently the Kinesiologist at Isaac Physiotherapy. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Kinetics at St. Francis Xavier University and am an internationally trained master’s student in Physiotherapy where I studied at Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland. I have previously worked at Isaac Physiotherapy as a student, and as a member of the patient care team.

I come from a sports background primarily playing hockey and golf, which created a passion for physical activity, health and wellbeing. I like to create a fun and exciting environment in the clinic promoting health and wellbeing with patients and fellow coworkers. I look forward to working with current and potential patients to restore their function and participation in work, life, and recreational activities.
